I'm trying to book trains from Venice to Ljubjlana and then Ljubjlana to Florence. first pop-up message is "arrival needs two characters"? what gives? I put in the city name and even the station? Second pop-up on Ljubjlana to Florence is " station departure"? I keep putting it in but pop-up repeats? Ernie

First, even if you find the schedule the likely hood of booking on Trenitalia is very remote. Historically Trenitalia has disliked American credit cards. But try, just don't be surprised if it doesn't work. Recently someone reported success with a Capital One card. Who knows?

I emailed RS rail dept regarding Trenitalia and they suggested using Raileurope.com instead. I looked at it and it's definitely more user friendly. Try them.
