Travelling from Frankfurt via Leipzig To Berlin

Myself and several friends are travelling for a week. Do you have any ideas what to visit. EG ( WW2 history, Architecture, restaurants and bars) in these cities.

Liepzig has mall in train station quite nice Lutheran interests The Door ect ??Wittenberg is on route from L to Berlin
