Travelling from Ayr to Glasgow Airport

How can I get to Glasgow Airport from Ayr besides renting a car?

I am not aware of any - nor does the airport site list anything apart from this method. The bus is a frequent shuttle service though.

Train to Paisley Gilmour Street railway station then bus. Through tickets available.

Thanks Marco, are there any buses direct from Ayr to the airport, would prefer not to have a change over?
