Would you recommend the train or the bus? We are staying near the Siena bus station.

Bus. About 3 hours, no transfer and pretty comfy.

There is a change of trains going from Siena to Rome so I would go by bus. We just did this, by train, earlier this month.

The bus is great. About 3 hours. The bus arrives across the street from the Rome Tiburtina train station. Tiburtina is Rome's 2nd largest train station.
