Of course they are;) I already bought my tickets to go see mom in December, but flying out of SEA. I really wish Alaska flew from Paine to OAK!

That would definitely be more convenient for you! I have read complains about expensive parking there, and the difficulty of getting there by public transit, though. Our son flies in to Paine from Boise when he has business in Seattle, and he likes the flight, but he rents a car for his time in Seattle.
We are doing a CLifornia trip in February to see family and get out of the winter gloom. I was able to book three separate flights for two of us for under $500 and was happy with that. Usually it costs around $600 just roundtrip to and from SFO.

Lola--Yes, I think. Paine is best for people that live close by. We are about a 10-15 minute drive so everyone in our neighborhood will shuttle others. No way would I leave our vehicles anywhere offsite there, even if there were lots nearby. Heck, I try to avoid that area entirely. I also wish they had flights to Eugene. I can't complain though as it is such a small airport and with opening not that long before the pandemic, it has definitely had its challenges and I am just happy that they are up and running. I could fly to San Jose from there to go see mom, but. my brother comes in from CO and that doesn't work for him. We have OAK figured out to where wee book flights that arrive within 4 minutes of each other, so wee just deal with it. Nothing is every perfect and that's ok;)
