What is the most economical way to arrive in Nice, and the fastest?

Probably the best and most economical way is to take the express bus from San Sebastian to the Bilbao airport, and then to fly Spanair from Bilbao to Nice. Bus info: http://www.pesa.net/pesa/horariosBD/ctrl_horarios.php Flight info: http://www.spanair.com/gb_pos/en_GB/portal/Start/Home

Spanair is no longer offering this flight, at least not in August, are there any other suggestions?

Looks like Spanair will be flying that route only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays during August. Other airlines fly that route but are much more expensive. Any chance of matching up your schedule with Spanair's?

they only go from spain to france on fridays, the other two days they are flying into spain - I m working on an alternative route -Certainly appreciate your help

Leslie - you're right. Fridays only. Kayak.com displays prices for August Tuesdays and Thursdays, then kicks you to the Spanair site which says "flights aren't available on your date." Sorry for leading you astray.

no worries, I appreicate the lead, I think i've found another way, although a bit higher in price, Biarritz to Marseille - Not what I initially intended, but it'll work fine -
