One of the the 2 main runways is closed. ( construction planned to finish is Oct)
Imagine how well traffic moves when half the lanes on the freeway are closed

Yep, had a connection there DFW - EWR - ATH on Sunday, 7/12. On Friday night, 7/10, they cancelled the DFW - EWR leg and rebooked it for Monday 7/13. However they left the Sunday 7/12 EWR - ATH leg intact. Of course I had to change both flights and there was very little available last minute that did not go through EWR or that didn’t cut days off our trip. So as Celeste says, just be aware,
