I am meeting a school group in Venice, Italy June 1st. I wanted to see some of Spain before and I have an itinerary that has me in Barcelona May 21-24 no room for the 24 but have for Granada May 25-27 I was looking at a one-way to Malaga airport from Barcelona to Granada and take a bus to Granada. Leaving from Granada I have from the 27- 31 to get to Venice
I was thinking of a flight to Vienna then to Venice. Any suggestions for getting to Venice. Also if you know of another city within the mountain area with a better connection to Venice?
I'm not sure I follow your whole post, but you can use Skyscanner to look at intra-European flights (both budget and "regular" airlines). You can fly from Barcelona to Granada nonstop; no need to go via Malaga, unless you want to. I haven't looked at connections from Granada, but you can fly right into Venice airport (code VCE). There's also Treviso and Bergamo (used by budget airlines), and Milan Linate and Milan Malpensa; all are much closer to Venice than Vienna is. Again, unless you want to see Vienna (and it's quite a haul from Vienna to Venice), there's no need to detour there. For train schedules (but not prices), the easiest source is the Bahn website.
Thank you, I have not been to Spain and only from my internet searches I thought there was no direct way to get to Granada by plane. I was trying to put a lot in and I think I will stay in Spain and do Barcelona, Granada, and Cordoba.
Thank you for the website I can look up where the stops are.
