Traveling from Chamonix to Murren

Robert, As you'll note from the website that Michael provided, your route will go from Chamonix to Interlaken Ost, and then from there to Mürren. The shortest trip appears to be 3H:34M wit 5 changes. At Interlaken Ost, you'll transfer to the local Berner Oberland train for the 20 minute trip to Lauterbrunnen. You may enjoy watching THIS video about that trip. It seems a bit "dated" as not all the cars have the present blue & yellow colouring. When you arrive in Lauterbrunnen, walk across the street to the Cable Car Terminal for the short ride to Grütschalp. When you reach the top, the small BLM mountain railway will be waiting. After another short ride, you'll arrive in Mürren. THIS Video shows the ride from Mürren to Grütschalp (it's a bit long, so use the "Fast Forward"). There is another route from Lauterbrunnen to Mürren using the Post Bus to Stechelberg, but the one I've described is the most straightforward. If you buy a ticket from Swiss Rail with Mürren specified as the destination, it will include all modes of transport. Happy travels!
