Thanks Jeoff but I am having a lot of trouble reserving a seat on the bus, they will not take my address or the hotels address were I will be staying.

Eurolines Bus company (operates throughout Europe) runs Paris/Amsterdam with price quoted for your day of 36Euros. I took their online system to the point of booking and saw no mention of 'members only'. If you're convinced you want to do bus rather than train, and if you buy your ticket shortly after arriving in Pairs, the bus option should not be a problem. Might be a bit trickier (and certainly more expensive) to do a last minute Thalys train if you decide bus is too slow.

Hi Bruce: Went a bit further on the Eurolines French site and as you say, the compulsory information required seems to preclude anything but a France address and all the fields need to be completed to even ask for an Eticket. Tried the same on the UK Eurolines site (so at least I was working in English) and they seem to have the same requirements, ie:be able to provide a legit UK address. I'd send a 'contact us' email to Eurolines to ask what the problem might be and if it's possible to book from NAmerica. That said, with a bus every two hours Paris to Ams, if you go to the ticket office in Paris on the Mar.23/24 to purchase, don't see a problem buying it over there. BTW, I did see the 'members only' notice this time on the Fr site (is that the problem??), didn't see it on the UK site. Good luck. Geoff
