Traveling between Ireland and Sicily

Hi, we are doing two Rick Steves' tours back to back (Best of Ireland 14 days and Best of Sicily) and I'm having difficulty finding the best way to travel between the two. I'll take any advice I can get.
Thank you!

By air is the only feasible option for two disparately located islands. Check budget airlines (Ryan Air, etc.) to see which cities they fly out of/into. I bet there is a flight between Dublin and Palermo.

skyscanner.com can be a source to research flights.

Agree with checking skyscanner. It looks like Ryanair flies direct between Dublin and Palermo. If you’re wanting to fly from Belfast there are no direct routes.

It is tough to get from Ireland to Sicily. For example, Ryanair fliies from Dublin to Palermo only a few times a week and leaves at 6:50 AM.

Given that the Ireland tour ends in Belfast, you might be better off flying from Dublin to Rome or Milan, staying overnight and booking another flight on to Sicily.
