I suggest you call various airlines and check their rates. Rates vary CONSTANTLY. You can take the Eurostar between Paris and London. It may be better to fly from Rome to Paris or London though. Any airline rep will be happy to run the numbers for you. We have flown American Airlines or British Air to London. American Airlines put people on either American or British Air (their partner airline). Last summer we flew from LAX directly (non-stop) to London. Then we flew from London Heathrow to Rome. In June we are flying British Air (using airline miles), non-stop to London. Then we are flying to Ireland to join a Tauck tour. When we return from London, we are going American Air from London to Chicago. Then we will spend a few days there and go through Dallas on our way back to Santa Ana Airport (Orange County, Ca), on American Air again.

Here's a possible itinerary. Book an open jaw (multi-city) tioket and fly New York-London and Rome-New York. Take the Eurostar from London to Paris. Book NOW at eurostar.com. The longer you wait, the higher the fare. There is a strict 30-minute check-in deadline for the Eurostar. You will go through security and passport control at Saint Pancras International. When you get off the train at Gare du Nord you can simply go on your way. Fly on a budget airline from Paris to Rome. Use the search engine skyscanner.com to see all your airline choices, both budget airlines and national carriers. Book NOW to get the lowest fare. Budget airlines have luggage number, size, and weight limits. If you exceed them, you'll pay a sizeable fee. They also have strict check-in deadlines. If you don't have a boarding pass in hand when the deadline arrives, your ticket will be worthless and you'll have to buy a new one for a later flight at full fare. If you fly into Heathrow, buy an Oyster card at the airport, load some pay-as-you-go pounds on it, and take the Tube into London. You can read all about Oyster cards on the Transport for London site. If you take the Eurostar to Paris, follow the directions I gave you on your other thread. If you fly into Fiumicino, take either the Leonardo Express train or a shuttle bus to Roma Termini. You can get a very cheap ticket on Ryanair, but Beauvais is a 90-minute bus ride from Paris and Ciampino also is an outlying airport. I suggest that you fly either easyJet or Vueling from Orly to Fiumicino.

I thought of a few more things. Go to the Transport for London site to access a zoomable Tube map. On your other thread you said that you will only spend one night in Paris. Assuming you'll be in London and/or Rome for several nights, consider cutting one night from either one or both cities so you can have more time in Paris. The fastest way to get to from central Paris to Orly is to take the RER B to Antony and the driverless Orlyval shuttle train from there to the airport. A slightly longer but cheaper route is to take the RER C to Pont de Rungis and the Orly shuttle bus from there to the airport.

Hi I have booked my 10 days vacation in Europe for this summer. My itinerary will be: Fly from USA to London Heathrow and stay in London for 3 nights. Take Eurostar from London to Paris and stay in Paris for three nights.
Fly from Paris to Rome and stay in Rome for 4 nights. I will find out if this is a good plan.
