What is the best way to get from Turin to Chamonix - three people, no car. Thanks

I saw a suggestion to use the Turin-Caselle International airport bus to get to Chamonix: http://www.chamonix.com/access-and-transportation,9,en.html Click on "SAVDA"; you have to piece together Turin>Aosta and Aosta>Chamonix. I feel relatively comfortable with this information, but I'm troubled by the bus routes because I've seen several different schedules attributed to this company that are not the same at all...Which is correct?!? Otherwise, it's 9 +/- hours by train, with one exception I saw that was 6 hours and a very early train. Those come with a min of 3-4 transfers... IF you already have a hotel in Turin, you might ask them for information...or go by train and stop overnight somewhere halfway...
