This is a new one to me, forget about Black Friday, you are being told to set an alarm for Tuesday Dec 3 which has been designated Travel Tuesday.
Is it legit? Are there deals? Dunno, but if you set a Google alert you'll probably start getting stories about it.

And imho they’re usually not really great deals here. They’re actually were a couple of good hot hotel sales on Black Friday last year
I am just hearing about Travel Tuesday myself.
I will be checking travel deals this coming Tuesday.
Maybe it is just one more marketing scheme.
