I want to travel from Budapest to Plitvice Lakes NP. My plan was to take a train from Budapest to Zagreb and then transfer to a bus to Plitvice NP. I just checked train schedules and all I could find were night trains arriving in Zagreb at midnight, or...one overnight train. I already have 3 overnight trains on my itinerary and really did not want one more (Amsterdam to Prague, Prague to Krakow, Krakow to Budapest). Any other suggestions? Did I miss another option? I am a solo woman traveler and arriving anywhere at midnight is simply not an option I will choose. Thank you!
