I would like to travel to Terseva from Budapest to see a few small towns where my family originated. What is the best way to get there and is it safe for a woman alone to travel to these small villages? Would is be best to hire a guide? If so, how do I find an English-speaking person to travel from town to town with me? I plan to do this all in one day.

My family is from a small village near Kolomyia in Ukraine. We are planning a trip to see that area and will probably begin our journey in Lviv.Do a Google search on Ukrainian tourism.You should be able to find all kinds of information at the sites offered.
