travel to paris, matterhorn, Rome

Guys,
Help me out here.
I am flying to london, spending time there and then plan on taking Eurostar to Paris, spend 3 nights there, 2 nights in matterhorn, and 4/5 nights in Rome. How should I plan my train travel? should I get point to point tickets via eurorail or should I get Select pass ?
Also, I figured if train from matterhorn goes via pisa to Rome... I wanted to stop there for couple of hours.
Also, when in Rome, I plan on going to Tivoli gardens for a day.
keeping all that in mind, what kind of options should i be looking at ?

A couple of things: Are you referring to Zermatt when you say "matterhorn"? And as far as I know, Tivoli Gardens is in Copenhagen, not Rome. You can plan your train travel by using the German Rail website: http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml

You can click on the "Railpasses" tab at the top of this page to get information on passes vs point to point tickets.

Thanks for the reply Jeff.

Yes I am reffering to Zermatt when I mentioned Matterhorn.

Outside of Rome, there is a city call Tivoli which is famous for its gardens, Ville d'Este

What I am debating is should I do point to point ticket versus 5 day or a 6 day pass ?

You can get an estimate here:

Keep in mind that these folks are selling railpasses so they may be a little biased but on a couple of occasions when I plugged in an itinerary they advised to buy point to point rather than a pass.
