May3, 2012 we will be staying in Haarlem, we plan to take the bus to Keukenhoff in the early am after completing a look at the gardens we would like to go to Amsterdam rather than returning on the bus to Haarlem. Does anyone know of a one way connection by bus or train to Amsterdam?

You can easily organize your trip like this: - train from Haarlem to Leiden (no transfer, 4 trains per hour) - shuttle bus to Keukenhof (buy an online combi ticket which includes park fee + shuttle bus) Then, after you visit the park: - shuttle bus to Schiphol (you can take any shuttle, doesn't have to be the same of your outward trip, so you can use the Leiden shuttle + Schiphol shuttle with the combi ticket) - train to Amsterdam You don't need to take a bus from Amsterdam to Haarlem. You can take a train.
