Travel time from London Heathrow to Euston Station

Our plane arrives at Heathrow terminal 5 at 12 noon on a Thursday. How much time should we allow to get to Euston station (to catch a train to Liverpool)taking a bus? Can we make it there by 2pm?

A bus will be very slow. Take the Tube (Piccadilly Line from Terminal 5 to Green Park and the Victoria Line from there to Euston). No, you cannot make it by 14:00. You need to allow up to one hour to clear immigration/passport control and another hour for the Tube ride. It would be wise to allow four hours between your scheduled arrival at Heathrow and your scheduled departure from Euston.

I'm not aware of any bus between Heathrow and Euston. Agree with Tim. 60-90 minutes plus before you enter the public areas at the airport, 15-30 before you're on the Tube or other transport, if there is a bus it will be slow; an hour on the Tube, 15 minutes to find your Euston train. That's 2:30 to 3:15 if there are no delays at immigration. Oh, and you are T5 so add a bit more time... I do agree - almost certainly not a cat's chance.. BTW - the direct Virgin services are at xx:07, the less direct London Midland services (change at Stafford, via Northampton) are at around xx:46.
