Travel Sweden to Ireland

Jan 20th we are looking for cheap flights from either Stockholm or Copenhagen to Cork Ireland. We are flexible on where in Ireland as we have to rent a car. Saving money is the key.

Ryanair flies between Stockholm Skavsta Airport and Dublin. Skavsta is 62 miles out of Stockholm but can be reached by train and bus service. The price would be right if you can live with their restrictions. AirLingus flies between Copenhagen and Dublin. For Ireland, that's about all there is. Sorry!

Hi Carol. To find inexpensive flights, try whichbudget.com. Looks like Aer Lingus flies non-stop from Stockholm to Dublin on Jan 20 for under $100 per person. Enjoy your trip!

If you rent a car in either the Republic of Ireland or in Northern Ireland, it is recommended to accept the full CDW. Most travelers depend on the extra coverage provided by their Visa and Mastercharge cards thereby permitting you to skip the CDW costs. Not so in Ireland. Visa specifically excludes Ireland, Israel and Jamica from this benefit. Consider accepting the full CDW option.

Aer Lingus, Stockholm to Dublin is the cheapest option to make that jump. The information is live on most of the airline search websites. It's $100-110 to Dublin and about $217 to Cork by the normal airlines. You CAN get to Cork for $116 using RyanAir (including a checked bag and all of their fees) by flying to Warsaw and then to Cork, but you have to buy two one way tickets and there is a 2.5 hour layover in Warsaw.
