Travel Survival Education

Did anyone out there see the last few episodes of this series? I think it comes from the UK. Features an ex SAS Commander. Practical advise on how not to die.
I especially liked the travel segments about staying safe while in "holiday-maker mentality".
Good tips on staying safe abroad and especially how to survive an aircraft evacuation. Hopefully some of us saw this and better understand what really can happen and how to better prepare yourself for it. Air crew train extensively, recurrently for just that.

It reinforces the opening address of our safety briefing on board the aircraft..."The most important safety feature of this aircraft is our Flight Attendants. Please give them your full and undivided attention as they deliver the following life saving information..."
Check it out! You might learn something!

Strange how my new Topic post has been edited! The network name has remained but the Program name has been deleted. Now my post makes no sense!
Looks to me like the Rick Steves people don't want us discussing any programming other than his own! Go figure!

FA - one would think that the web police would at least send you a pm indicating they edited it. Perhaps somewhere in the fine print when we signed up to participate in the helpline states what we can/cannot post.

I must admit I didn't give my undivided attention to the safety briefing until I saw a comedy skit on tv. The scene had a flight attendant in the sea with several passengers who are floundering around and she says to them "Oh so now you want to know about the safety and rescue proceedures" or something similar. Although I thought it was funny it did strike a cord with me that I don't listen and it is important. Not only that, but it's pretty rude not to repect the job the flight attendant is trying to do and really it is for the benefit of passengers. So now I do listen and watch. Particularly love the multi lingual ones.
