Need help getting from Florence-Grindelwald-Paris. Not sure if my daughter(21) & I should fy to Paris due to the strikes or not? We are on a tight time schedule Rome Dec. 13-16/Florence Dec.16-17/Grindelwald Dec. 17-18/19? /Paris Dec. 18?/19-21st. I've checked alot of the web sites to find some prices from Fl-Gr. but they won't show the prices. So I don't know if we should buy a pass or buy point-point? Do I fly or not? Help?

Karen: The Paris rail strike is over. Re your other questions, they require a specialists knowledge that I don't have, there are some knowledgeable regulars on the Helpline who may be able to answer your questions in the next day or two, watch for replies here. In the meantime, you can click Transporatation/Rail Department (above) or the tab "Railpasses". I checked some air websites and got the impression (could be wrong) that it's time consuming to get to Grindelwald by air because the nearest larger airports are some distance away.
