If I leave a week before my 90 days is up in the Schengen Zone (Italy) by air and land in London (getting my passport stamped in the UK), and if I take the Eurostar train back to France, and then to Italy, will my passport get stamped at the border of France of Italy by officials? ( i want to stay for 4 and a half months....but i only have the 90 day USA "visa" with my passport....)

The rule is 90 days in the Schengen zone in each 180 days. So if you spend 83 days there, then come back right away from England to Paris, they may wonder about the fact you only have seven days left.

Norm is right, you would only have one additional week left of your Schengen visa. The 90 days doesn't restart just because you left the zone. If you use up your 90 days you would have to be out of the zone for 90 days before you could come back.
