By train it's a minimum of 10 hours with a minimum of two connections. You can fly direct on either Vueling (a budget airline) or Iberia. Vueling will be much cheaper.

We went the other way last May. I thought about the train and then flew from Barcelona to Nice instead. Have a great trip!
