Our family of 5 is planning a trip to Europe this June and need to book travel from Vienna to Interlochen. We are not sure if we should fly or take the night train. If you recommend taking the night train, could you please let me know how to go about booking it?

There is no direct night train. There is a night train that leaves Vienna at 22:26 and arrives in Zurich at 07:20. Leave Zurich at 07:32, connect in Bern, and arrive at Interlaken Ost at 09:28. If you book the Vienna-Zurich night train now on the Austrian Rail site, you should be able to get a discount fare. There are no discount fares for either Zurich-Bern or Bern-Interlaken Ost. Buy your tickets when you get to Vienna.
