We're going to stay in Verona and want to visit Lake Garda while we're there. We'll be using public transport. My question is: what's the best form of transport, train or bus? And if it's train, which is the best station to go to? I see there are 2 listed. Thanks, Maggie

Maggie, It would help if you could clarify which part of Lago di Garda you want to travel to? For travel to the south end of the lake (Sirmione), I believe the correct station is Desenzano Del Garda-Sirmione. Travel time for that station is ~20-minutes from Verona. Cheers!

Oops! Sorry Ken, yes, it is rather a large lake! And yes, it's the southern end we want to visit.
