Travel from Sienna to Bolzano

Hi. My girlfriend and I are going to be striking out on our own after finishing up a Heart of Italy tour in late Sept. We're planning on first spending a couple of days in Sienna and then heading north to Bolzano. We've done some research, and have heard about a train that will let us make the trip, but have not had any luck on tracking down the details. I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Thanks,
Mike

You can look up schedules (but not fares) on the German Rail schedule page. Hint, I think the town is spelled Siena. You won't find one direct train from Siena to Bolzano. The best you can do is a train from Florence (Firenze) Campo di Marte station all the way to Bolzano, but it will take you two trains to get to the Campo station from Siena. Or, you can catch a train from Siena to Florence S.M.N. station, and a two-train connection from there to Bolzano via Bologna.
