Hi, Just trying to book a ticket using http://www.tgv-europe.com but not sure what I am meant to fill in for the loyalty program section. I have no loyalty card, can i not just buy a regular ticket? If not, what is the best/cheapest way to do so? Thanks
Kate
You don't use tgv to rouen,, just book on sncf ( french national train). Fill out right hand side with Paris-Rouen, and dates
When booking the train to Rouen, look at a few different times, you can get prem ( special cheap rates) for as little as 20 euros return. They are however non refundable. I just did a dummy booking to check for you and for June 5 , a return ticket will set you back 20 euros. Good price.
PS as said, you don't use tgv for Rouen, but if you use it for another journey you simply do not fill in the loyalty section at all.
If you can read French, you can book on voyages-sncf.com. Otherwise, go ahead and book on tgv-europe.com. Booking well in advance (up to three months allowed) can get you a Prem's fare as low as €10.00. That ticket will be for a specific departure date and time and is non-exchangeable and non-refundable. The standard anytime 2nd class fare is €21.90. The loyalty program is for residents of France.
