How much is train travel from Munich to Zurich? Can you use the Europa-Spezia fare from Germany? How so you find this special?

There are Europa-Spezial Schweiz fares available on selected trains from Munich to Zurich. The lowest fare, if you book far enough in advance, is €39. The Europa-Spezial fare is an offering of German Rail (DB); one end of the trip has to be in Germany.
Go to the German Rail website. Put in from Munich Hbf to Zurich Hbf, the date as dd.mm.yy, and the time. If the date is more than three days in advance, you should see "Standard Fare" and "Savings Fares". Under Savings Fares will be a button for "Check Availability". When you click the button, you will be sent to a page to input the ages of the travelers; that page will send you back to the "Check Availability" page. Click "Check Availability again, and it will show you what Savings Fares are still available on that train. If the lowest fares are not still available, there is a button to push to "Change Connetion". If you push that button the lowest available fare will be shown for all connections.
Note that the Europa-Spezial fares are train-specific, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable (kind of like you flight).
