travel from malpensa airport to bellagio

I will be dropping friends off at malpensa airport the morning of the 21st of july. I willnot need the car in bellagio what is the best way to get from malpensa airport to bellagio? thanks jim

Hi Jim,
I would take the bus to the Central Train station in Milan (takes about 1 hour.)

Then, take a train from Milan to Varenna (also takes about 1 hour.)

Then, take a ferry from Varenna to Bellagio (takes about 20 minutes.)

Rick's Italy book provides very specific directions for making this trip (where to catch the bus from Malpensa to the Central Train station, which train to take, how to get from the train station to the docks in Varenna, ferry to Bellago, etc.)
