Arriving at Heathrow in May, visiting South England then going to Frankfort. What’s the best way to travel? Also returning to Heathrow in June 15.
you could get a flight London to Frankfurt roundtrip direct
... and you can fly home from Frankfurt, saving time and maybe money over returning to London. The itinerary must be calculated using a multi-destination search function.
Where in South England. EasyJet could be an option depending on where you are. As usual, little more information could be helpful.
If you chose to fly, beware Ryanair flies into so-called "Frankfurt-Hahn", which is 120 Km from Frankfurt. Do not choose this option, make sure you are flying into the real Frankfurt airport.
Train is also an option, via Paris or Brussels, if you have the time (and SNCF have stopped striking).

BTW "Frankfort" is in the USA. "Frankfurt am Main" is in Germany
Sorry, but some of the posts above are incorrect.
EasyJet doesn’t fly from the U.K. to Frankfurt direct.
Ryanair use both “Frankfurt” airports, so ensure you pick the “Frankfurt International” option - they fly here from Stansted. A more expensive option would be BA from Heathrow.
Frankfurt Airport is very strange that it has over 75 airlines that fly in and out of there, but only Lufthansa has a large number of flights.
Ryanair and Lufthansa are the only airlines flying from London airports to Frankfurt.
I've never seen so few budget air carries flying into such a large airport. Politics in action.

And British Airways.

Market forces in action, the low cost airlines use cheaper airports instead.
