Travel from Krakow to Baden Baden

We are planning to travel from Krakow / Ostrava to Baden Baden in Germany. Is train a better option or should we take a flight ? The other question that I have is, what would be the ideal routing - through Prague or Vienna or Munich ?

You asked this same question on your "Train Travel" thread and I answered it. Is there something more you need to know?

Tim - Thanks for your reply. My problem is that I am planning to start in the morning from Krakow / Ostrava and ach Baden Baden by evening. Besides, Since we are traveling on holiday with kids, changeovers might not be very convenient. Hence the question. Can you help me with a solution - one train change should be ok. Alternatively, we do not mind flying into Frankfurt and taking a train from there. Please suggest.

Debabrata, According to the German Rail site, your fastest daytime route from Ostrava to Baden-Baden is Ostrava-Prague-Munich-Baden Baden, departing at 06:50 and arriving at 20:22. The Prague-Munich leg is on an express bus operated by German Rail. For Krakow to Baden-Baden your fastest daytime route is Krakow-Warsaw-Berlin-Baden Baden, departing at 06:45 and arriving at 22:16. You could fly from Krakow to Frankfurt on LOT Polish Airlines, departing at 11:00 and arriving at 12:35. Take the train from the airport station to Baden-Baden (minimum of one connection in Mannheim).

Thanks very much Tim. I think I will fly to Frankfurt - that seems to be the easiest option.
