I'm flying from the U.S. into Heathrow and hoping to stay in the Cotswolds that first night. I'm assuming I'll take the train. To what station should I go and I would like to not use a car while there. Suggestions?
Thanks!
Moreton-in-Marsh is one of the few towns in the Cotswolds served by train. You can get a train from Paddington to there. Take the Heathrow Connect or Express from Heathrow to Paddington. Alternatively, you could take the RailAir bus to Reading and pick up the train in Reading.
Thanks again!
why did you post the same question twice? I answered the other one.
The URL for the official Cotswolds site is www.the-cotswolds.org. There is a 22-page guide on that site telling how to get around in the Cotswolds by public transportation (train and bus). Go here: http://tinyurl.com/87zbzqa.
