Travel from Geneva, Switzerland to Divoone les Bains, France

We will be arriving by train to geneva and staying 6 nights in the town of Divonne, close to Geneva. Is there any bus or rail service or is renting a car the best option. We have 6 nights to explore Switzerland and the Mt Blanc area. Would prefer trains but a car seems like the best option. Any suggestions?

You can use the Swiss rail site rail.chnto find the answer. Basically you take a train to Nyon or Coppet and bus from there. It takes 30 to 50 minutes.
