I am coming from Athens and would like to end up in Dubrovnik, but need a cheap option out of Athens. Any suggestions?

check out www.skyscanner.net
You can just plug in the date and airport you want to fly out of and can just click "any airport in Europe" and it will list places in rank of price.
I took a great trip like that in February, just choosing cheap flights and ended up going from Paris-Krakow-Milan-Edinbugh

Also, check whichbudget.com, and don't forget to compare those discount airfares with the "big guys." Many will offer comparable rates on comparable city pairs, but with better schedules.
