Hi,
I'm travelling from Athens, Greece on a tight budget. I want to know the cheapest and easiest possible way to reach Dubrovnik, Croatia or Napoli, Italy from Athens, Greece. I’m not troubled by which destination I travel to first, just the cheapest and easiest route. I will have a Global Eurail pass, which is valid in Greece, Italy and Croatia. I have also considered flying but it appears to be very expensive. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
There is some good information on travel between Greece and Croatia here:

For the Greece to Dubrovnik section, also check out the past posts/search in the East section. Unless you fly it is not an easy route to travel since you will need to go through Albania and Montenegro.
Check out Balkanology.com as mentioned by the previous poster. I love the website and always check it when traveling in that part of the world.
The thorn tree forum on the Lonely planet website will also give you more detailed and upto date info.
