Travel from Amsterdam to Wittenburg, Germany

I am wondering what you would advise me to do to get to Witttenburg from Amsterdam. Should I take the train or would it be best to fly? Thank you for your assistance>

Hi, Do you mean Lutherstadt W i t t e n b e r g, which is a little south of Berlin? If so, you have two choices. If you decide to fly, you would fly to Berlin, then take the ICE train to Wittenberg. If you're taking the train, (day) two/three changes are involved, the last one in Berlin to Lutherstadt Wittenberg. Or, you can do this route: take Amsterdam-Duisburg, then Duisburg-Berlin, lastly, Berlin-Lutherstadt Wittenberg...all legs on ICE. I myself would choose this route first. The CNL night train is direct from Amsterdam-Berlin but you arrive shortly before 0500. That's the down side. Then you change to Lutherstadt Wittenberg on the ICE.

Use the German Rail (Bahn) website to find train connections. Use the proper spelling of Wittenberg to get to the right place. It looks like your connection will go through Hilversum (NE) and Berlin and will take just under 8 hours.
