Any rail pass that covers Norway covers the Oslo–Bergen train line (paid seat reservation required, reserve at least a week ahead for summer departures from Oslo, compare to full-priced ticket for about $115) and gives you a 30 percent discount on the private Myrdal–Flåm train. Local tourist information offices and train stations sell all-in-one package tickets, or you can pay as you go for the Myrdal–Flåm supplement and bus and ferry rides. See more on our Norway rail page.

The national rail website's English page is:
https://www.nsb.no/en/frontpage

Advanced purchase minipris tickets are discounted but you need to figure out how to pay by US credit cards. See:
https://www.nsb.no/en/our-tickets/buying-your-nsb-ticket

Looking at a April 8th schedule the one way single Oslo S 8:25 am departure to Mydral price is 678 NOK standard and 249 NOK Minipris plus seat reservation. Note that the NSB website only allows purchases 90 days in advance.

For a 4 day trip to norway, Is sognefjord the only one I should go for or should I go to geirangerfjord also. What are the travel options for geirangerfjord.

Also is the eurail pass applicable in these stretches.

What would be the reservation charges. Is it better to go for individual minipris and then flam rail then ferry and bus tickets along with eurail pass or better to go with Norway in a nutshell package.
