Minori near Salerno south of Naples? Imagine you best bet is a train but you'll need to research which regional trains depart Rome and the travel times to see which is the quickest. I'm thinking a train from Rome to Salerno and then a taxi to your accommodation. Otherwise you could drive yourselves. Google maps estimates a 3 hour drive. Have you purchased a map of Italy yet?

Take the train from Rome to Salerno. Take a SITA bus from Salerno to Minori. If your plane arrives on time and you get through immigration/passport control fairly quickly, you just might be able to catch a Regionale train from FCO to Roma Tiburtina, departing at 10:43 and arriving at 11:31. Then take a high-speed train directly from Tiburtina to Salerno, departing at 11:41 and arriving at 13:44. Buy your Tiburtina-Salerno ticket at FCO so you don't have to stand in line at Tiburtina. But don't count on it. It would be safer to plan to take the Leonardo Express train from FCO to Roma Termini, either departing at 11:08 and arriving at 11:40 or departing at 11:38 and arriving at 12:10. Take a high-speed train from Termini to Napoli Centrale, departing at 12:45 and arriving at 13:55. Take a Regionale train from Napoli Centrale to Salerno, departing at 14:22 and arriving at 14:59. SITA buses from Salerno to Minori depart at 14:00 (daily except Sunday), 14:30 (every day), 15:00 (daily except Sunday), and 15:30 (every day). The ride takes one hour. To get to Pompeii you'll need to take the SITA bus from Minori to Sorrento (with a connection in Amalfi) and the Circumvesuviana commuter train from Sorrento to Pompeii Scavi.
