We are planning a trip to Turkey in late June. We will arriving in Istanbul and immediately want to continue on to Ankara, 2 nights and then on to Bodrum 4 nights and then back to Istanbul for 2 nights. We prefer to travel by train, any suggestions or recommendations on how to do this. We will be traveling with a young teen.

We used a train to go from Istanbul to Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. The Istanbul train station has the Orient Express restaurant whci is really neat. My suggestion is to not take anything but first class. We were in 3rd class and investigated 2nd class which was not that much better. Our car toilet was a squate hole in the floor. Take first class.
