Anybody have any idea's for the Best and cheapest way for four of us to get from Paris to Madrid or Paris to Alicante Spain. RailEurope seems to be very$$$$

NZ 4053 is a direct night train from Paris Austerlitz to Irun. Leave at 23:10 and arrive at 07:36. If you book far enough in advance (up to 90 days) at www.tgv-europe.com, you can get a Prem's fare as low as €32. To keep the site in English and to avoid being bumped to the Rail Europe site, choose Great Britain as both your country of residence and the country in which you will retrieve your tickets. You can pick up your tickets at any SNCF station in France even though you originally chose Great Britain. Take ALS 4086 from Irun to Madrid-Chamartin, leaving at 08:15 and arriving at 13:57. If you can't buy that ticket in Paris, buy it when you get to Irun.
Or take the direct Paris-Madrid night train (EN 409) leaving Paris Austerlitz at 19:46 and arriving at Madrid-Chamartin at 09:10. Book well in advance at tgv-europe.com to get the best fare (as low as €88).
Budget airline choices: Fly easyJet or Vueling from CDG to Madrid. Fly Ryanair from Beauvais to Madrid.
