Travel between Berlin and Poland

I am traveling to Wroclaw for a wedding 8/17. it appears the most economic way to do this is to fly to Berlin (we are coming from southern California) and then by train from Berlin to Wroclaw. We will have a few days before the wedding and are contemplating going to Krakow form Berlin for a couple of days, then Krakow to Wroclaw. Is this feasible on a short trip? We land in Berlin 8/12 or 13, and need to be in Wroclaw by 8/16.

According to the timetables on the German Rail site, it's 8 1/2 - 10 hours from Berlin to Krakow. It's 5 - 5 1/2 hours from Krakow to Wroclaw.
