You can get a ticket from the German Rail website. Some connections can be ticketed online and the ticket sent by email as a pdf file. For other connectins you can't get a pdf ticket; they send it in the mail. That will cost €3,50 for postage and take over a week (I think. I have never tried tickets by mail). Unless you want a reservations, you don't really need to get a ticket in advance for most of those trains. Just purchase it in Amsterdam. If you want a reservation, get it then. If you purchase your ticket well in advance (at least 3, up to 92 day), you can get a train specific, non-refundable ticket for as little as €19 pP with the Europa-Spezial Niederlande fare.
