Trasnportation from Antibes, France to Firenze, Italy?

Hello - Can anyone please recommend the best/most efficient way to get from Antibes, France to Firenze, Italy? We really would like to add the French Riviera to our itinerary, but I am having a difficult time figuring out how to get to Florence afterwards. Thanks! Andy

Train down the coast of Italy to Viareggio and from there to Florence.
