Transportatoin connections from JFK-Newark?

I know this would be a chance to find someone who can help but thought I'd throw it out there...my boyfriend and I land at 6:30 pm at JFK (july 26)and have to transport ourselves to Newark airport for an 8am flight (july 27) so we also have to stay somewhere too overnight or sleep on our bags at the Newark. I've found through Super Shutle that we can get a van for $150. And have found Lincoln Limoussine services to do about $110 including toll and tip. We are hesistant on renting a car since we'll be jetlagged and tired etc. Anyone know how to go cheaper to get there? A cab is about $100 too.

Since you have some time to play with, you can take the train from JFK to Newark.
From JFK you take the airtrain to Jamaica Station. From Jamaica take the LIRR to Penn Station. At Penn transfer to an NJ Transit train to the Newark Airport rail station. There is also direct bus service. For more details check out this link:

Unfortunately I found these sites a while ago and the Airporter's last bus is at 7pm and we won't clear customs in time etc for it. All of their websites say it runs until 10pm and they are WRONG!!! It bummed me out...
