Transportation within Scandinavia

Hi, I have an itinerary suggested below from somebody I know for Scandinavia. (Please read below from the bottom up.) I am having a difficult time deciding about the transportation between cities in Scandinavia. If there are night trains or buses, it would make a difference that I would need to book less nights at a hostel. Do you have some suggestions? So far I booked the following hostels: 3 nights for Oslo, 2 nights for Stockholm (I hoped there would be a night train), 2 nights for Copenhagen (again I hoped for a night train). I booked 2 nights in Bergen.
Also Stavanger and Flam I did not know what to book. June 1-2 : accommodation at Oslo airport June 1 : Train towards Oslo but alight at Myrdal and change for Flåm (leave Flam at 08:35am, gets to Myrdal at 09:27pm, leaves for Oslo S at 09:50 pm, gets to Oslo S at 14:32pm, leaves Oslo S at 15:21, gets to Oslo airport (Gardermoen) at 15:59pm) May 31-June 1 : accommodation in Flåm can be found at http://www.visitflam.com May 31 : Boat to Flam (along the Sognefjord), leaves in the morning, takes about 5-6 hours and you get tickets when you are in Bergen May 29-31 : accommodation in Bergen May 29 : Boat to Bergen, leaves 13:20 pm and arrives about 16:00 pm (this is a Sunday, other times on other days) May 27-29 : stay at our place in Haugesund May 27 : leave for Haugesund, boat or bus, can be arranged when you are here (boat from Stavanger at 13:30, arrives Haugesund at about 15:00) May 25-27 : accommodation in Stavanger May 25 : flight to Stavanger May 22-25 : accommodation in Copenhagen May 22: flight or rail to Copenhagen? May 19 - 22: accommodation in Stockholm May 19 : flight to Stockholm May 16-19 : Oslo Thank you, Ed Flickinger

There is no night train between Oslo and Stockholm. But there is one direct day train. Also, there is no night train between Stockholm and Copenhagen, but there is a night train between Stockholm and Malmö with a connection to Copenhagen (Malmö and Copenhagen are only 30 minutes apart). Also there are several day trains which go all the way between Stockholm and Copenhagen. You can also fly between the cities. it's faster and sometimes cheaper, but you won't see so much.
