What is best way to get from CDG to Connelles, France?
Nancy due to the wonders of Google I have discovered that Louviers is about 80 miles north of Paris and you will take a train from Gare Du Nord. Once in Louviers you will take a taxi I assume to Connelles as it appears to be only 4 or 5 miles from Louviers and it is very tiny! There may be local bus service but I imagine it is very irregular, so arranging to have a taxi meet you is probaly best.
ARe you visiting friends in that area that could help, or if renting a place the owner should be able to suggest a local service.
Anyways, there are some great sites, in ten minutes I learned alot about two places I have never heard of ! LOL
According to both www.bahn.de and www.voyages-sncf.com, you would take a train from Gare St-Lazare (not Gare du Nord) to Val-de-Reuil, and a bus from there to Louviers. That bus goes no further.
To get to Gare St-Lazare from CDG, take the RER B to Gare du Nord, the connecting tunnel to the Magenta RER station, and the RER E to Haussmann Saint-Lazare. The trip will take less than an hour and the fare is 8.20€.
Go to www.ratp.fr to download and print a Metro/RER map for central Paris and a RER map that shows service to outlying zones, including CDG.
