When my friends and I leave Amboise by train in September should we stop and visit Versailles on our way to Paris?? Does the museum have a locker rental for our luggage? Thanks, Amy Stow, OH

There are no direct trains from Amboise to Versailles. For most times of the day the fastest way from Amboise to Versailles is to go to Paris and then to Versailles. Yes, there are left-luggage facilities at the chateau.

Thank you so much. I've been to Versailles before but my friends have not been to France yet. Versailles is definitely on the must see list. I guess we will go in to Paris then visit Versailles the next day. Thanks for your help. Amy
