Hello, The posters to this board have never let me down! My question is this: My wife and I are trying to go from Blackpool to Dublin after visiting a friend living there. We will be flying into London and likely out of Dublin. What is the best/fastest/cheapest way (I realize these may not all be the same option but would appreciate info on how to navigate this inter city trip)!

Travel down to the Liverpool (John Lennon) Airport and fly Ryan Air to Dublin. Book the flight as early as possible for the cheapest fare (like 3 months out). Check the Ryanair website for flight schedules and print an e-ticket to take with you. If you have excess or heavy luggage be prepared to pay more - read their details about luggage charges.
Alternative would be to take the ferry from Holyhead.

You could also fly Manchester-Dublin on either Ryanair or Aer Lingus.
