I am arriving alone to Rome from LA tomorrow and have been unable to book a train bc they are updating the schedules. I am looking for a transfer from Rome to Montefollonico. I will have 2 roller bags and a carry on and have had Tuscany Transfer suggested to me. Someone will pick me up at the airport and drop me off at my hotel in Montefollonico. It is 310 euros. Does this sound safe and right?

Do you realize that's about $476? I would go to the train station and book a train when you get in. It will maybe be a hassle with all your luggage but...$476 will buy a lot of gelato in Italy!

I am sure it is safe but that is a lot of money when the train is easy to do. You can buy your train ticket at the airport ticket office when you get the ticket for the Leonard Express to Termini.
